SPITFIRE SCRAMBLE 2026

CLASSIC CAR REGULARITY RALLY June 5th to 7th, 2026 Based at Sywell Aerodrome – our traditional home for the Spitfire Scramble – this unique event combines two days of regularity rallying and aerodrome tests from one of England’s most atmospheric Art Deco settings. Sywell is home to the restorers of WW2 Spitfires, and the backdrop of wartime history makes this one of our most distinctive and beloved events. The rally is strictly limited to 30 cars only. Friday 4th June Arrive at Sywell on Friday June 4th and check into your room in the Art Deco Aviator Hotel. You will sign in and collect your rally bag, tulip road book, Virtual Marshal™, rally plates, souvenirs, regulations and more. Our mechanics will scrutineer the vehicles on arrival. Saturday 5th June Cars start at one-minute intervals, heading out on to the Aerodrome for a series of tests before tackling the scenic 135 km Regularity route. There will be a coffee stop and a lunch stop along the way. Arriving back in the late afternoon, we have arranged dinner for all participants in the Aviator restaurant. The hotel displays photographs going back to the construction of the airfield and records of its wartime activities, when it was home to hundreds of Tiger Moths used to train WW2 pilots. A late bar will be open so you can soak up these unique surroundings at your leisure. Sunday 7th June On Sunday morning we have another fantastic route for you to explore. As on Saturday, great scenery is coupled with stops for coffee and lunch. Arriving back at Sywell Aerodrome, we will hold the prize-giving ceremony to round off a memorable weekend.
