Rainbows Autumn Car Run 2026

Overview: The annual Autumn Classic Car Run raising funds for the Rainbows Childrens Hospice. Rainbow Classic Car Run This is the annual September classic car run and is likely to be the best yet! Following the April run success where nearly £2000.00 was raised for the Rainbows Childrens Hospice we hope to raise another record amount as well as using our classic cars as they were intended - to drive on the open road in great countryside. The day will start with registration at Bawdon Lodge Farm, Nanpantan, collection of route information and the possibility of coffee and a bacon cob. There will then be a relaxed run through the Leicestershire countryside completing our day at the Gates Garden Centre at Stapleton. During the run there is no time pressure and entrants are encouraged to take their time. A mid-run break has been arranged at The Wellie Deli at Coleorton but of course you can enjoy the scenery and stop for refreshment at other places along the route. This event is a longer route than in April and will cover around 70 miles, as a consequence the cost is higher but, as ever, it is run by volunteers and all proceeds go to the Rainbows charity.
