PCGB Transaxles @ East Kirkby - 924, 924 Carrera GT, 928, 944, 968

Please read on for news of a summer transaxle event at Lincs Aviation near Spilsby Lincolnshire on 4 July hosted in association with Lincolnshire & Humberside Region (R4) and Lincs Rover Club. In previous years, all ages and models of Porsche have attended, however, this year we have decided to do something different. As this year is the 50th Anniversary of the launch of the 924, we would like to have a stand of just transaxle Porsches, so that we can celebrate not just the 924 in all its guises, but the 944, 968 and 928 models too. The show will take place on Saturday 4 July at: Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre East Kirkby Spilsby Lincolnshire PE23 4DE Gates will open at 10am. Entrance is £15 per car on the gate (cash only), which gives you access to all of the museum’s exhibits and to see the Lancaster ‘Just Jane’ and the Mosquito doing taxi runs. Please book below so we know what numbers to expect. There will also be a raffle, which will give you a chance to be a passenger on the final taxi run of the day. All monies will be split between the Aviation Heritage Centre and Lincs/Notts Air Ambulance. There will be food and drink available on site at the recently refurnished Naafi. Once you are through the gates, please drive slowly and follow instructions given to you by the marshals. The East Kirkby Classic Car Rally is always a great day out and it would be good to get lots of these wonderful cars together. The event also gives you the opportunity to meet and bond with fellow transaxle enthusiasts as the event is open to all transaxle members in the 924, 924 Carrera GT, 928, 924, 968 Registers.
