PCGB R5 - Prodrive Factory Tour & Lunch

MEMBER EVENT Prodrive Motorsport is the world’s leading independent motor racing company, founded in 1984 by former World Rally Championship winning co-driver David Richards. From the design and manufacture of some of the most successful and innovative race and rally cars of all time, to carrying out extensive test and development programmes to optimise performance, and providing race team global logistics management, Prodrive is the business behind some of the greatest names and achievements in global motorsport. We’re delighted to bring to you this opportunity, but with just 10 spaces available, you’ll have to be quick! To fill the expected demand, we will be running a repeat of the event next month. Time and Date: 10:00 am, Friday 14th August 2026 Location: Prodrive, Chalker Way, Banbury, Oxford OX16 4XD Cost: £50 per person Places: Limited to 10 members Prodrive tours last typically between 90 minutes and 2 hours. Time and content depend on the needs of the group, so you are free to ask questions and make the most of your time there. Tours take place only during working hours as this offers visitors by far the best experience. You’ll see Prodrive in action with cars and engines being assembled and sometimes tested on the dyno. You will need to make your own way to the factory, where there is ample parking. Lunch Time: 12:30pm Location: The George and Dragon, 1 Thorpe Road, Chacombe, OX17 2JW Cost: As per available menu A table for the entire group of 10 has been booked at The George and Dragon, a charming, traditional, family-run, village country pub full of character - located in the village of Chacombe, just a 10-minute drive from Prodrive. Here you can relax and enjoy discussing the morning’s experience with your fellow members before the drive back to the Northwest! This is another treat for R5 members with motoring in their DNA and an interest in the cutting edge of motorsport technology! Booking is essential as places are strictly limited to 10, to be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
