PCGB R1 Tour of Cumbria & the Borders

MEMBER EVENT Bob Rabagliati has kindly arranged this Scotland South Region tour over two days with an overnight stay at the Crooklands Hotel, Crooklands, (just off J36 of the M6) for up to 20 people, single or couples, with special dinner, bed and breakfast rates detailed below. The outline itinerary for Day 1, the route south, and Day 2, the route north, is as follows: Day 1: Tuesday 20 October 10am. Gather and meet at Cairn Lodge services, between J12 and J11 of the M74. 10.30am: Depart on southerly route via Moffat, Langholm, Carlisle M6, Southwaite services (gather for lunch/comfort break), Penrith, Ullswater, Ambleside, Windermere, Crooklands (approximately 165 miles). 7pm. Dinner in Crooklands Hotel Restaurant. Day 2: Wednesday 21 October 10am. Depart Crooklands on Northerly route via Sedbergh, Old Tebay, Shap, Penrith, (gather at Tim Horton’s for comfort break), Alston, Brampton, Longtown, Langholm, Eskdalemuir, Ettrick, Traquair, Peebles (Kingsmeadow Car Park) (approximately 175 miles). The prices for dinner, bed and breakfast are as follows: Classic - £125.50 single occupancy / £190 double occupancy Deluxe - £139.50 single occupancy / £204 double occupancy For our special rate the following terms and conditions apply: The stay is refundable up until 30 days prior to arrival. By the 30-day mark, the hotel requires a 75% deposit. This will then be deemed as non-refundable. The hotel then requires the remaining 25% payment 14 days prior to arrival, by then the full stay is deemed as non-refundable.
