PCGB R1 Car Treasure Hunt

MEMBER EVENT “August” I hear you say but we’re excited to get this one out again! Bob Rabagliati has organised a car treasure hunt for our members. A few years back he kindly organised one and members have since kept asking me if we are going to do it again… So here you go! The treasure hunt competition is not a race, but will test your awareness, observation and recognition skills by gathering clues and points at specified locations along the route. You will benefit from having a passenger (or passengers), both as a navigator and second pair of eyes, although it can be completed solo. A pen/pencil or biro and mobile phone camera (only) will be needed. The use of your mobile or any other device to access the internet for any answers is forbidden. Your trust and integrity not to use any device to gain helpful information is assumed. Prizes for first, second and third places as well as a special prize winner who will be announced at the end of the event. The start point for registration and departure is the Dakota Hotel, Eurocentral, ML1 4WQ, meeting from 9am and departing at 9.30am. The finish point is The Moffat House Hotel, High Street, Moffat, DG10 9HA where a Hot and Cold Buffet lunch will be served when all the participants have arrived and handed in their Treasure Hunt responses, which is anticipated between 1pm and 1.30pm. The cost is £20pp this includes the ‘Treasure Hunt’ Entry Fee and a Hot and Cold Buffet Lunch. Drinks can be purchased at the hotel bar at your own expense. Please book by Friday, 31 July.
