50th Scottish Transport Extravaganza

Strathmore Vintage Vehicle Club are delighted to be holding the 50th Scottish Transport Extravaganza in the magnificent grounds of Glamis Castle over the weekend of 11th & 12th July. This event is regarded as the premier vintage motoring spectacular in Scotland and is one of the largest of its kind in Britain. Bringing together over 1700 vehicles representing a wide array of transport comprising veteran, vintage and classic vehicles and machinery and offering a variety of parades, pipe bands and amusements as well as a craft village. The event is open from 9am to 5pm both days and parking for visitors is free, dogs are welcome provided they are kept on a lead. Public buses will be unable to serve their usual stops, including the Castle. They will instead serve the stop at the Glamis War Memorial. Tickets Tickets are available to purchase upon arrival on the day. Cash is preferred.
