2026 Time Attack Championship - Round 6
📅 Monday 31 Aug 2026 · 12:00am – 11:59pm
📍 Brands Hatch · Brands Hatch Circuit, London Road, West Kingsdown, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN15 6FS
Organised by Time Attack
The 2026 Time Attack Championship returns to Brands Hatch on Monday 31 August for Round 6, as part of the GO JAPAN event.
With five rounds complete and just two remaining, the championship enters its closing stages. Points become increasingly valuable as competitors look to strengthen their positions ahead of the season finale at Cadwell Park.
It may be a return to familiar territory, but Brands Hatch provides another demanding challenge. The short, fast Indy Circuit leaves little room for error, with Paddock Hill Bend, Druids and Clearways combining to reward precision, commitment and a well-balanced car.
The Championship:
Time Attack is focused on one objective: setting the fastest lap.
There’s no wheel-to-wheel racing. Each driver competes against the clock, pushing to extract the maximum from car and circuit within their class.
Across the day, competitors take part in multiple timed sessions, building towards the Super Attack Final where the quickest laps of the event are set.
The 2026 championship features a broad range of classes, from lightly modified road-based cars to highly developed time attack machines:
- Clubman & Clubman+
- Pocket Rocket
- Club Challenge
- Club Sport
- Club Pro
- Pro
- Invitation
- Classic & Retro
With just one round to follow, every championship point scored at Brands Hatch could make a difference to the final standings.
On Track:
The Time Attack Championship will be on track four times, spread throughout the day:
- Warm-Up
- Attack 1
- Attack 2
- Super Attack
Each session allows drivers to refine setup and improve lap times, building towards the Super Attack where the fastest laps of the day are delivered.
Between track sessions, spectators can explore the paddock, get up close to the cars and speak with the drivers and teams as they prepare for their next run.
Check the official event timetable for full session timings.
Round 6 – The Final Push Begins:
With the championship approaching its conclusion, Round 6 provides one of the final opportunities for competitors to add valuable points to their season totals before the championship heads to Cadwell Park for the finale.
The return to Brands Hatch also gives drivers and teams the opportunity to revisit a circuit they tackled earlier in the season, with further development and experience behind them as they chase their best possible performance.
For spectators, it’s another chance to see the full variety of Time Attack machinery in action around one of Britain’s most famous circuits, with the championship battles now heading towards their conclusion.
Get Involved:
Whether you’re looking to compete or experience the action trackside, Round 6 at Brands Hatch promises a full day of competitive Time Attack action.
Round 6 takes place within the wider GO JAPAN event, bringing together Japanese performance cars, displays and automotive attractions alongside the championship’s on-track action. Live timing will be available throughout the day.
