Winter’s grip is loosening, the battery chargers are coming off, and cabin fever has reached dangerous levels.... Which can only mean one thing…

It’s time to open the supercar season properly
This is a pure driving morning - great cars, great people and a route chosen for one simple reason it’s brilliant to drive

The Start - Yonderman Cafe SK17 8RW

We’ll meet 9am onwards for coffee, conversation and that familiar moment where engines fire up after far too long standing still.
Wheels rolling,, tyres warming, oil circulating, smiles returning as we depart at 9.30am

No rush. No pressure. Just easing ourselves back into the season the right way.

Once rolling, we dive straight into proper Derbyshire & Yorkshire roads — the kind that reward smooth inputs and make even modest speeds feel special.

The route threads together:

Fast, flowing A-roads with long sightlines and sweeping curves
Quiet B-roads that rise and fall through open countryside
Sections of historic Roman road alignments, still doing exactly what they were built for — getting people moving efficiently and enjoyably
Broad moorland stretches where the road opens up and the scenery does the talking

Perfect for stretching a car’s legs after winter storage without ever needing to push

The Objective (Non-Negotiable)

All good drives need a destination — and this one is legendary Tagg Lane Dairy
Widely regarded as home to the world’s best ice cream and perfectly placed as a natural pause in the route.

Park up. Walk it off. Debate flavours.
Ignore anyone claiming two scoops is “manageable”.

And yes… sheep remain a possibility.
