Lonely Porsche only works if there are events to attend! If you know of any, we’d love for you to share them so everyone in the community can join in.

All we need to add your event is a short bio, dates and location and a logo of your club. If you have a link to your original advert then add that also.

We do reserve the right to withhold events that don’t reflect the spirit and values of our Porsche community—otherwise, everything is welcome!

Porsches need driving, and drivers need friends to drive with.

Lonely Porsche was created to help everyone discover events to enjoy with their Porsche.

It’s completely free—a gift from me to you—because I’ve often been disappointed when I missed out on great events.

And yes, so has my Porsche.

The Capel Show

An extravaganza of Classic Cars and Motorbikes, Flowers & Vegetables, Food and a Bar with a good selection of local ales, an Auto Jumble, Dog Show and local stalls selling everything good our village has to offer.

2026 will be the 26th Show. An eclectic mix of over 700 classic vehicles will be on display.

Registration will be open from March 1st for exhibitors. It will close when we hit the maximum number of 700 registrants.
Auto jumblers can also sign up from Mar 1st onward (see the dedicated section below)

Classic Cars

Six Vehicle Classes
1) Veteran & Vintage Cars to 1944
2) Post War Cars 1945 – 1960
3) Classic Cars 1961- 1973
4) Collectors Cars from 1974 – 2001
5) Race and Rally Cars
6) Vans & Commercials
Registration will open from 01/03/2026

Three Motorcycle classes:
1) Classic Motor Cycles up to 1960
2) Collector’s Motor Cycles from 1961
3) Race and Trial bikes

Trophies

Our expert panel of judges consisting of racing drivers and ex chairmen of the event will decide best in show classic car and classic bike.
